Gravel Creek project

Killarney Bushcare is partnering with the Killarney and District Historical Society to beautify and protect the northern bank of Gravel Creek in the heart of town.

Starting in early 2024, we planted a variety of attractive and functional native species. Not only are they good-looking, but over time these plants will help prevent ongoing erosion, increase biodiversity and help beautify our town.

Now, after 2 years many plants have doubled in height and begun to flower and thrive. They are attracting birds and other wildlife into the centre of Killarney.
