About Killarney Bushcare

A biodiversity hotspot

Killarney in southeast Queensland is an area of great natural beauty and home to a unique mix of plant and animal communities. We enjoy beautiful mountain scenery with rainforest and eucalyptus forests, green pastures and the upper reaches of the Condamine River with its springs and tributaries.

Who we are

The Killarney Bushcare Group is a subgroup of Condamine Headwaters Landcare, and our focus is maintaining the biodiversity and health of the local environment.

We work in and around Killarney. Some projects are on public and some on private land. Everything from seed saving and propagation to planting, mulching and weeding is undertaken by the group.

How to get involved

Casual visitors and new members are always welcome!

We meet monthly and usually finish with a shared lunch.
