Killarney Bushcare AGM + 2026 Planning

Last weekend we held our AGM and kicked off planning for what’s shaping up to be a big year ahead for Killarney Bushcare.

Our 2026 plans include:

  • Our much-loved platypus watches in March and August

  • A new project monitoring nesting sites and installing nest boxes for endangered glossy-black cockatoos

  • Continuing the Gravel Creek restoration and stabilisation project, in partnership with the Killarney and District Historical Society

  • Plus many more biodiversity-focused projects and events

A big congratulations to our 2026 committee:

πŸ‘ Susan Birtles – President (re-elected)

πŸ‘ Sandy Stewart – Vice-President

πŸ‘ Barbara George-Jaeggli – Treasurer

πŸ‘ Craig Hodges – Secretary

With so much happening, 2026 promises to be an exciting year for Bushcare. Thanks to everyone who supports and cares for our local biodiversity.
